about

This track is based on an ancient Tajik song about the coming of spring. The original song is an example of the musical style "Falak" (translated from Tajik as "Sky") in which the singer or player addresses their music not to the listening audience, but to the skies.

This piece is composed by Denis Sorokin, who gave the first public performance on piano on 20 March 2024 in Dushanbe, and is dedicated to all the kind people of Tajikistan.

All proceeds for this track will be donated to the Middle East Children’s Alliance: www.mecaforpeace.org
